President's Message

Trusting that everyone is getting back into their swimming form and enjoying being back at Masters! It was great to see so many people who were able to make it out to our Potluck brunch after Saturday’s practice yesterday! As usual we had a great selection of food and drink. Thanks to everyone for making it a success. A special thanks to Maureen who coordinated the whole event! We are hoping to hold another one towards the end of January. We have club registration forms which we will be giving out. We are asking for an email address as we use email for all our communications. We never provide email addresses to any outside organizations and this information is for club use only. We are also asking for $20 club fee from everyone ($10 for students). These monies are used to offset the cost of club social events. They are also used for the purchase of gifts, cards, notes as the need arises. Finally the money is used to offset the costs associated with our great new website developed by Allison White. (www.laurentianmasters.ca) You can give your money to one of the coaches or to one of the executive members. Masters Swim does take a break over the Christmas season. Our last practice will be Tuesday December22nd and our first practice back is Monday January 3rd. On behalf of the executive I would like to wish everyone a wonderful Holiday Season!
