Ian McCloy Island Swim Results

Island Swim Results – Placings:

Sudbury – Over 70 swimmers competed in the Ian McCloy 28th annual Island Swim Sunday in the waters of Lake Nepahwin.

Under ideal conditions, and with the support of local paddlers and City of Greater Sudbury lifeguards, the swimmers competed in 3.2- and 1.6km, or 500-metre events. There was also a 100-metre youth challenge.

This year the swim, which is the third event in the Sudbury Fitness Challenge, attracted swimmers from Calgary, Alta, Toronto, Stratford, North Bay, Huntsville, Shelburne, Elliot Lake, and Sudbury.
